Long Island Man Accused Of Stalking Girl

A Long Island man has been accused of stalking a teenager after what police say were multiple incidents that occurred between Friday, Oct. 4, and Friday, Oct. 11.

The suspect followed a 16-year-old girl while operating a 2013 gray Nissan Rogue in Levittown as she was walking home from school on Wantagh Avenue in the vicinity of Old Jerusalem Avenue, according to Nassau County Police.

The man charged, Justin Sullivan, age 26, a resident of Levittown, drove past the victim numerous times on five different days and would wave at her while laughing, said police.

On Thursday, Oct. 10, Sullivan was observed operating his vehicle and parked in front of the victim’s residence.

Following an investigation, detectives placed Sullivan under arrest at his residence without incident.

Sullivan has been charged with stalking.

He is scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday, Oct.16, at First District Court in Hempstead.
